ANGIE HERRINGTON, CFP®
Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
Angie Herrington is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) while also holding her Series 7 (stockbroker’s license), Series 66 (investment advisor’s license) and is also licensed for life insurance, long-term care insurance and annuities. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors in Business Administration and began her career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in 1995. She later went on to serve as a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen in their Financial and Commodities Risk Consulting division.
In January of 2015, she made the move to personal investment management and financial planning and has worked for both large and small firms in the industry as a financial advisor and leader among her peers. She launched her own firm in 2019 as a result of her passion to serve her clients in a more personal and concierge style.
Angie currently serves on the Professional Advisory Council of Communities Foundation of Texas, a non-profit serving local charities to help meet community needs while also assisting donors with strategic giving. She has also served on the board of Network of Community Ministries, a non-profit serving lower income families in the Dallas and Richardson areas.
She and her husband, Galen, grew up in the Dallas area and have been married for 20 years. They currently live in Allen with their two school-aged children.
GALEN HERRINGTON
Financial Advisor
Galen Herrington holds his Series 65 (investment advisor’s license) and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University. He is a US Marine and graduated with a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. After seminary, Galen went on to serve as a Chaplain in the US Army where he spent fifteen months in Iraq. After returning, he served as the senior pastor of a church in East Texas for seven years.
After retiring from ministry, Galen joined Angie at Herrington Wealth Management to serve couples and families, just as he and Angie had served together in ministry.
He and his wife, Angie, grew up in the Dallas area and have been married for 20 years. They currently live in Allen with their two school-aged children.
